2025 Showcase explores artificial intelligence and innovation in regional health
The 2025 Murrumbidgee Regional Health Innovation Showcase brought together more than 100 attendees to explore innovation, artificial intelligence and the future of rural and regional health care.
Hosted by the Murrumbidgee Health and Knowledge Precinct, the annual Showcase created an opportunity for representatives from health, education, industry, government and community to connect, share knowledge and explore opportunities for collaboration across the Murrumbidgee region.
The 2025 event focused on artificial intelligence in health care, a timely and important topic for rural and regional communities. Speakers and presenters explored how emerging technologies, innovation and new ways of working can support better care, better systems and better outcomes.
The Showcase supports the Precinct’s Research Support and Innovation focus area, which aims to build partnerships between local academic research institutions, health sector employees and community. This work helps explore innovative healthcare models, improve access to care, incorporate the latest medical technologies and enhance population health and wellbeing.
The event also promoted a one-system approach to addressing complex rural and regional health challenges. By bringing together people from across sectors, the Showcase created opportunities to identify shared priorities, build relationships and shape future collective action.
The Murrumbidgee Health and Knowledge Precinct acknowledges the many partners, presenters, sponsors and attendees who contributed to the success of the 2025 Showcase.
The event demonstrated the strength, capability and leadership that exists within the Murrumbidgee region, and the value of creating a space where local ideas, evidence and partnerships can grow.
