MHKP showcases regional innovation at the 2025 RICH Forum

The Murrumbidgee Health and Knowledge Precinct (MHKP) was invited to present at the 2025 Rural Innovations Changing Healthcare (RICH) Forum, sharing its approach to regional collaboration and innovation in healthcare.

Held annually as a virtual forum, RICH connects rural and metropolitan healthcare professionals, consumers and cross-sector partners to showcase innovative practices that support rural communities. The forum provides opportunities for professional development, networking and knowledge sharing across NSW and interstate.

Under the theme We live here, we thrive here: Rural innovation in our backyards, the 2025 program featured presentations, panel discussions and ePosters highlighting local innovations that help rural communities thrive.

MHKP's lightning presentation, A Model for Regional Innovation and Activation, highlighted the role of the Precinct in bringing together health, education, research, government and industry partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and strengthen regional health and workforce outcomes.

The invitation provided an opportunity to share the MHKP approach with a broader rural health audience and demonstrate how place-based partnerships can help connect local expertise, support innovation and build capacity across regional communities.

The forum is supported by the Rural Health Network within the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation, established in 2013 to promote a coordinated approach to identifying, reviewing and monitoring innovative practices and models of care suited to rural communities, including the use of technology to improve access to services.

MHKP's participation reflects its ongoing commitment to sharing knowledge, building cross-sector connections and supporting locally driven solutions that contribute to a stronger, more connected regional health system.
