MHKP showcases health and education opportunities at Wagga Wagga Country Change Expo
The Murrumbidgee Health and Knowledge Precinct was pleased to take part in the Wagga Wagga Country Change Expo, showcasing the work underway to improve healthcare and education across the Murrumbidgee region.
The Expo provided an opportunity to connect with people considering a move to regional NSW and highlight the many reasons the Murrumbidgee is a great place to live, work, study and build a career.
MHKP shared information about how the Precinct is bringing together partners from health, education, industry, business, community and government to improve access to high-quality healthcare services, strengthen education and training pathways, and support better integration of the regional health system.
For people considering a move to the region, access to healthcare, education and employment opportunities are important factors in deciding where to live. The Expo gave MHKP an opportunity to showcase the depth of local health services, regional education pathways and the collaborative work happening across the Murrumbidgee.
The event also supported the Precinct’s Education and Rural Workforce focus area, which aims to grow regional workforce capacity through innovative education and training pathways.
By promoting local opportunities and strengthening regional attraction, MHKP is helping support a sustainable workforce and a strong future for health and education across the Murrumbidgee.
