Wagga Wagga Health Precinct tour showcases local health, education and innovation
The Murrumbidgee Health and Knowledge Precinct recently had the privilege of hosting members of the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber for a tour of the Wagga Wagga Health Precinct.
The tour provided participants with a behind-the-scenes look at the outstanding health services delivered locally through Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, as well as the impressive teaching and learning facilities supporting the next generation of doctors at the UNSW Biomedical Sciences Centre.
The visit was an opportunity to showcase the depth of expertise, innovation and collaboration already happening across the Murrumbidgee.
For rural and regional communities, access to high-quality local health services is vital. The tour highlighted the strength of services, facilities and partnerships within the region, and the important role they play in supporting better health outcomes for local people.
It also demonstrated the value of connecting health, education, business and community leaders. By building understanding across sectors, the Precinct can continue to strengthen partnerships that support workforce development, innovation and regional growth.
The Murrumbidgee Health and Knowledge Precinct is proud to share what makes the region such a great place to live, work, learn and play.
